I couldn't help it...

I'm not really patient enough to wait to post things when I have them done. Today I took the AB fabric down since my MIL is sending me MORE to add to it to make it a lap size quilt instead of a baby quilt. She enables my fabric addiction is awesome! So in the meantime I pulled out these old coin strips she gave me a while ago. Yesterday I finished putting them together (a few were pinned) and I added the sashing and borders. Today I pieced the backing. I'm sooooo excited about this one. Originally I was going to keep it red and white, but at the fabric store, when I was trying to figure out what kind of binding to put on it, I saw some SUPER cute green striped fabric and Brandy thought it would make an awesome Christmas quilt. The Red in the backing is flannel from JoAnns and I LOVE it! p.s. don't look at the black computer screen obstructing the view.
