Bloggers Quilt Festival Spring 2012
Today I'm linking up to Amy's Blogger Quilt Festival linky party (all the way from Las Vegas)! I decided to showcase the one big quilt that I've managed to finish so far this year. This quilt was made for a friend in the far north, yup, all the way up there in Alaska. The spring up there only lasts about 2 weeks, and if you blink, you miss it. It is just under a queen size, and was professionally quilted by a local pro. This quilt was really fun to finish up and send to her while it was still winter. She has it on her bed to add a little spring time to the dreary Alaska winters. I LOVE it, and she LOVES it, and I hope you do too!! Enjoy the pics!!
