Good Morning All!
Are we super excited for giveaway day?!
Let me start off by saying thank you for stopping by. If you have time and get a chance to look around the site that'd be awesome. This is a new site that was originally started to share some creativeness with family and friends who are far away, but since has been altered to become my progress blog for quilting/sewing.
I know you're not really here for a history, but if you get a chance to mosy on through the blog, I hope you find something you may be interested in reading, and maybe will consider being a follower. I will be having giveaways for every 100 followers. If you're a potential sponsor, or want your button on my blog, contact me!
Now on to the goodies!
I will be picking 13, that's right, 13 WINNERS! Let's see what we've got:
A lot of vintage goodies. This includes approx. 10 yrds of vintage ribbon (spool not included), 2 packages of vintage stretch lace, 2 vintage rhinestone buttons, and 3 vintage magnets. |
One handmade baby tag blankie. Flannel with minkee backing. |
2 reclaimed leather journals from NewPreHistory on Etsy. She was kind enough to donate necklaces to a Breast Cancer Awareness auction I held a few years ago. |
3 Key Fobs! |
1 vintage sheet fat quarter bundle! |
5 more winners will be selected to receive some cute little handmade charm bookmarks.
So how do you win?
All you have to do is leave ONE (1) COMMENT answering the following question:
1) As a new blog trying to appeal to seasoned readers (such as yourself), what advice do you have for me and what would you like to see more of from the blogs that you follow?
The giveaway will close at December 16 at 5 p.m. PST.
HAVE FUN!!!
I always love to see tutorials that encourage me to try another project.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! Those are some amazing prizes! I just really love to see great projects with lots of pics for inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI love to see tutorials! BEAUTIFUL prizes! I especially love the taggie blanket.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't really call myself a seasoned reader, but I love seeing friendly, genuine posts that have a spark of originality in the writing and content (ideas etc). After a while you get sick of everyone posting the same old tutorials etc.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!
Sarah @ http://kiwigetscrafty.blogspot.com
i love a ton of photos! and i love to see wips or tutorials! thats what keeps me coming back :) raineoc@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteI'm always a sucker for a well-lit, close up photo. I admit, if a *great* blog has mediocre photos, I always pass by and move on to the eye candy.
ReplyDeletecynsaw2@yahoo.ca
I love seeing blogs with some wit and humor in the posts, but giveaways and tutorials are always a great way to reach out!
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteMy advice is to visit lots of other blogs with similar interests and leave comments. To find them go to your profile and click on one of the interests you shared about yourself and links to blogs with the same thing will appear.
ReplyDeleteajoyfulnoise (at) live (dot) com
I love to see repurposing projects - I enjoy being nudged into seeing objects in a different light! Thanks for the great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI love more great tutorials or craft ideas!
ReplyDeleteI love well written tutorials with lots of photos...makes understanding the technique a breeze..thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeletenabihawangde(at)gmail.com
Personally I like tutorials and just fresh ideas, inspiration.
ReplyDeleteI love great projects with pictures but more importantly I enjoy learning a little about the writer through personal stories.
ReplyDeletetutorials help - i started my blog in august - don't worry about traffic and followers, simply blog for you and they'll follow - join link parties too!
ReplyDeleteI would suggest being yourself first and foremost. Write about what you want to write about, what interests you. Make sure you include pictures of what you're making or your inspiration and of course the finished item. I don't know if you've got a shop, but only posting about your shop is a good way to get rid of followers!
ReplyDeleteTutorials are generally what will bring me to a new blog, then I'll look around to find other inspiration.
ReplyDeletei would LOVE to win your vintage goodies :) i like reading tutorials :)
ReplyDeletePeople like tutorials. Make sure you get on Flickr and join some swaps!! That's a great way to get to know other bloggers and to get readers!!
ReplyDeleteFinally, don't worry to much about the numbers!! Just enjoy having a place on the nets : )
Good luck!!
Oh...and I would LOVE that vintage FQ bundle!! hee hee.
My Google profile is private, but you can find me at www.3beansstudio.com
Love those taggies.
ReplyDeleteYour key fobs and vintage ribbon make me drool. I love that brown and blue patterned fabric. The thing I look for in new blogs to follow is creative ideas that I haven't seen other places, or unique twists on other ideas. Thanks for the sweet giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI love a good tutorial, but I also love in-progress photos of whatever you are working on - I love the window into how other people work,
ReplyDeleteI like blogs that have a little variety, honestly. Yeah, great tutorials are goof, but I need some clue that you're a stressed out momma/wife/employee/whatever, too, and not just a crafty queen, ya know?
ReplyDeleteWow, how generous are you! I'd love to be entered into your giveaway. I think that having tutorials and giveaways is a great way to get new readers, everyone likes to learn new techniques and who doesn't love a giveaway! Thanks so much for the opportunity to win one of your lovely gifts and wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas! Deb
ReplyDeleteEasy to follow tutorials with lots of pictures are what send me back to a sewing blog.
ReplyDeleteLike everyone else, I love tutorials and high quality photos. New ideas for small gifty projects are always welcome. I love that tiny journal! Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteI love tutorials for sewing, crafts, and children activities.
ReplyDeleteI like to see tutorials or finished projects with links to the pattern/tutorial used.
ReplyDeletemindfulhome at gmail dot com
How fun! I like to see good photos of fun projects, even if they aren't your own. I like to try to figure out how to do stuff by myself, so tutorials are good, but they are so time-consuming I'm just going to vote for showing us pics of unique creative projects! Thanks for asking.
ReplyDeleteLove photos and a good photo tutorial! Even on something easy a good photo tutorial comes in handy.
ReplyDeleteSuch a great giveaway! I think that having great photos is really important-- photos can really make or break a blog post for me. Beautiful photos of things that you have made, seen, or bought can really inspire me! Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI think I want a blog to have good posts. You don't necessarily need to write ofen, just so my reader isn't clogged with fluff posts. Then I'm more likely to continue following the blog. I love seeing projects that others are working on. It really inspires me. And I love tutorials
ReplyDeleteI love tutorials and pictures, and I like a sense of humor. :)
ReplyDeleteI hate to be the repeater - but tutorials are what get me in the door ! I stay when I find an easy to read writing style, nice pictures and when the writer is authentic and kind !
ReplyDeleteI don't have advice, but my favorite thing about following blogs is the giveaways
ReplyDeletei'm a big fan of tutorials and lots of pictures.
ReplyDeleteI love to see tutorials too and pictures of different projects and I've just gotten into trying to win giveaways.
ReplyDeleteI look for tutorials, humor, and photos for inspiration in my favorite blogs.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!
I like and religiously follow blogs that have three things:
ReplyDelete1. Frequent and regular posting. Set a schedule and follow it. You don't have to post every day, but at least once or twice a week.
2. TUTORIALS--I love learning new stuff.
3. Quality and relevant content. I stopped following a blog recently because the blogger spent an entire post, on a "fashion blog" talking about why she didn't wash her hands after going to the bathroom. It was a complete turn off and all I could think every time I read a post after that was how disgusting it was that she didn't wash her hands after going to the bathroom.
I'd love to see more in depth tutorials. Many times I've found a great project, but when I go to try it out, the tutorial isn't very thorough and is hard to follow.
ReplyDeleteI love tutorials. Especially tutorials showing you how to upcycle things you may already have!
ReplyDeletemsagala1 at gmail dot com
I like a good mix, tutorials, pics of inspiration, a little bit about you.
ReplyDeleteI love photos but I also know how hard it is to get them with winter nights closing in and children who always like to be involved!!
wow, what a lovely giveaway! As a blog reader, i love to see tons of photos explaining all the steps in a tutorial. more photos, the better!
ReplyDeleteI suggest commenting back! For every comment I receive I try to visit that person's blog (if they have one) and leave a comment. It makes you feel like the time you spent writing was totally worth it! jinglesells at gmail dot com
ReplyDeleteI agree that commenting back is great. Also post often! If I check a blog a few times and there isn't anything new, I'll probably stop checking.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite things to see on blogs are tutorials for projects!
I love of course tutorials but also photos of your stuff to be inspired by these...
ReplyDeleteWhat a generous giveaway - 13 lucky winners? Wowzers. I think you are off to a good start :)
ReplyDeleteI love well-written tutorials with loads of pics and getting to know the blogger. This seems simple, but I think there is a big difference between writing what you think people want to read vs just being yourself. You have something special that is simply just you - so stick to that. I will absolutely follow you - maybe to hear where you found all your gorgeous goods?
Marilize
(marilize.paulsen@gmail.com)
Once I find a blog I like I use google reader to keep track of them, it saves loads of time. However some blogs are set so they only show a summary not the whole post to make you click through to the blog itself. This drives me mad!
ReplyDeleteIf I want to comment I will click, but don't want to just to read the post. There are only one or two I don't unsubscribe if this happens.
I want to see very often new posts, don't like it when someone only post once a month.
ReplyDeleteI love tutorials, but the blogs I read most faithfully are the ones where the writer visits and comments on my blog!
ReplyDeleteThe best blogging advice I can give, is to be yourself. Be genuine. People always respond to that.
ReplyDeleteRegular posts & originality
ReplyDeleteI like pictures, how-to's, and when the author shares what went wrong (if anything did go wrong) Let me learn from your mistakes! Thanks for the giveaway! robyn(dot)geddes(at)gmail(dot)com
ReplyDeleteTutorials! And frequent posts. :) Great giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI always like tutorials, sewing tips and giveaways!. Thank you !
ReplyDeleteI like tutorials because even if something seems simple, its nice to have a guide
ReplyDeleteI like to see tutorials with lots of pictures. It is always helpful to me with the pictures.
ReplyDeleteI love pictures. Post lots of pictures!
ReplyDeleteOne thing that keeps me coming back to blogs is great tutorials. I love learning new things!
ReplyDeletewow,so many items for so many winners,so generous of you.On blogs always love to see there handmade items together with patterns or tutorials. Thanks for the chance to win this.
ReplyDeleteI love tutorials and lots of pictures!
ReplyDeleteTashaHaston at yahoo dot com
Beautiful giveaway items. Those leather journals are priceless!
ReplyDeleteI'd say to keep a small spec of humor in your writing, post helpful, informative content (tutorials, inspiration, links to helpful websites, etc.), and to share a bit of yourself with your audience. I prefer to read blogs by real people with real lives as opposed to highly-sponsored professionals, so write your blog for yourself, make it what YOU want it to be, and your enthusiasm for your work will carry the rest of us along for the ride.
Best of luck to you, and thanks for the opportunity to enter!
I like to see tutorials for fun stuff. I also like to read about non-crafty stuff sometimes. And pictures, I think pictures inspire a lot of people :) Thanks for having such a great giveaway. I'm new to your blog so I'm going to have a look around!
ReplyDeleteI love to see photos, lots of photos, and tutorials are always nice too! Humour always makes a good blog too :-)
ReplyDeleteloops at loop-da-loop dot com
I like to see pictures and tutorials on blogs.
ReplyDeleteI like a good mix of topics and lots of pictures!
ReplyDeleteOriginal content, honesty and lovely photos! :)
ReplyDeleteI like to hear about how and why someone has chosen a project and to see pictures of the process.
ReplyDeletePhotos, photos, photos! :) Bright, well edited photos make such a great impact on any blog! Best of luck to you and thanks for the giveaway! :)
ReplyDeleteBest,
Michelle
daydreambelievershop {at} gmail {dot}com
oooh all fun especially the taggy blanket and the journals :) I'd say the main thing for me, since I put people into my Google Reader, is including the whole post in the feed. Nothing will get you unsubscribed faster than putting just a snippet. (I'll come by if you ask a question I want to answer in the comments, etc.; but you have to be totally fabulous for me to keep you with just a snippet.) Beyond that, I like a variety of things - good writing, new ideas, tutorials, etc. - but none is a requirement. (Not even pictures - I subscribe to a few writing-only blogs as well.)
ReplyDeleteI look for tutorials or links to recommended tutorials, sewing tips, serging tips, pretty pictures for inspiration, etc.
ReplyDeletekristie_keely(at)yahoo(d0t)com
Blogs with tutorials are my favorites, I rarely read any others.
ReplyDeleteI like tutorials and printable patterns. Those are the main blogs I read
ReplyDeletebeth(dot)sebastian(at)gmail(dot)com
I like tutorials!
ReplyDeleteI love tutorials, that's how I've ended up following most of the blogs I keep up with.
ReplyDeleteI personally enjoy tutorials.
ReplyDeleteOne word: tutorials
ReplyDeleteAs mentioned above tutorials are GREAT. I also like beautiful photography!
ReplyDeleteTutorials and sew alongs always keep me coming back :)
ReplyDeleteKeep posting, reply back to comments (via email).. but you don't have to with giveaways!! And have fun, remember the reason you started blogging & that was for yourself, don't fret about followers or comments as that may put some 'stress' onto your posts!
ReplyDeleteTutorials are great for encouraging me to follow a blog. Thanks for the give aways.
ReplyDeleteWhile I like tutorials, etc., I think it is also important to be chatty and friendly online. I also think we should be allowed, as people and bloggers, to have multiple interests (gasp!)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance!
I have two blogs, a crafting one and one where I just write about anything I feel like! I love tutorials - but the best blogs, to me, are those that have good pictures and conversation! Love to read about what others' are doing, and accomplishing...
ReplyDeleteI love tutorials.
ReplyDeleteI love tutorials. And photos. Only been reading blogs for the last couple of months, but already really inspired!
ReplyDeleteheatheratcullinan@gmail.com
tutorials!
ReplyDeleteIf you make a bag please take a photo of the inside! I always need to the inside of things. Thank you for the gorgeous give aways.
ReplyDeleteYour tutorials are the BEST! and I feel so privileged to have been a part of one! Thanks again!!!
ReplyDeleteWell, as the other commenters said, tutorials. I also think that being witty and funny is great! I love blogs that make me laugh!
ReplyDeleteMostly, I think you need to let you shine through. I find that when I write personal posts, I connect with my readers much more than just a project or tutorial!
Everyone loves giveaways, too!
Colours and tutorials are what I like...oh and giveaways
ReplyDeleteI agree -- tutorials & lovely photos are key...but most importantly, I like blogs that are *real*. Honesty and a minimum of hype keep me coming back!
ReplyDeleteExcellent photos! And a catchy/beautiful banner at the top. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI like to see frequent posts and tutorials. THanks for asking!
ReplyDeleteJess
jessmusumarra (at) hotmail (dot) com
I like tutorials, especially ones that show you how to do things that you'd think people would already know. I always like to read about new ways to put in a zipper or such. I ADORE those key fobs!
ReplyDeleteLovely! Thanks for the chance! I say while I know advertising is important, don't let your blog become overrun with it...."billboard blogs" can become hard to navigate.
ReplyDeleteI like blogs with lots of pictures, tutorials and frequent posts. Love a good giveaway now and again too! Thanks for the chance at yours.
ReplyDeleteI love tutorials. And, thought I know sponsors are nice, seeing a million ads down the side is annoying and distracting. oh-- and pretty photos are always nice :)
ReplyDeleteDesi
weeshareblog@gmail.com
Tutorials are always good, as well as lots of progress pictures. Regular updates are also really good.
ReplyDeleteLots of photos and frequent blogging - at least once a week - three is better.
ReplyDeleteHmm...I'd say it's all about formatting. Make sure there's space between thoughts/paragraphs so it's easy to read. A lot of bloggers just have one huge paragraph and it gets a bit jumbled.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the book necklace. It's such a cute idea!
laoul1 at gmail dot com
Some of the things that keep me coming back to blogs is great pictures and tutorials.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great blog! Finding a new great blog is almost as good as winning.
ReplyDeleteI would love pictures and tutorials, and a few post about your life so we can get to know you.
ReplyDeleteThe reason I read blogs is to find out how people put together colours in their projects. How they add their own touches to patterns and to hear recommendations about products, patterns and colours.
ReplyDeleteSo the things I like on blogs are tutorials, photos, photos and more photos and thoughts about products.
Good luck!
Original photos, but no music. Thanks for the giveaway! Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteI like when you click on a link, it opens in a separate page. This way I don't lose the original site I was at. And keep the background a light color. Nothing I hate worse is a blog that is difficult to read for these aging eyes! That said, I LOVE these vintage goodies!
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy seeing works in progress and finished works. Tutes are a big plus for me as I am still and always will be learning.( I wish someone would do one for me about getting the darn pics off the camera and onto the blog I am such a nontech person) I like to hear about sales and giveaways on other blogs that you may have seen. I also like it when people post their screw-ups I don't feel so inept that way. You have picked great giveaway prizes there is something for everyone! I personally think you can never have to many key rings!
ReplyDeletei love tutorials, and seeing different fabrics mixed together. and giveaways :)
ReplyDeleteI like tutorials and lots of nice photographs. And whatever you do, please, no music!
ReplyDeleteI love to see what DOESN'T work for people! mistakes you've made, patterns you can't figure out, seams you sewed the wrong way, etc. Helps make you human, not some super-perfect un-attainable superwoman. :) That makes me want to keep reading! <3
ReplyDeletetutorials with pics... i feel bad. that is what everyone is saying. also, participating i these give aways get readers to your blog.
ReplyDeletethanks!!
Mostly just be yourself! Tutorials and giveaways are great too - take the time to respond to comments on your posts and work on building relationships with your regular readers.
ReplyDeleteGreat giveaways! I enjoy reading blogs where the writer has a sense of humor, gives the reader a glimps of who they are and what is important to them. Like others I like well written tutorials with great photos. I like to be inspired. Thanks for the opportunity to win. Linda
ReplyDeleterodlindafansler at gmail dot com
I think I like to see new projects and patterns for making them. I wish I had more time to put stuff like that on my blog.
ReplyDeleteI'm another fan of tutorials and examples that will inspire me .... hard to pitch at I know. sorry. I also like to see glimpses of other cultures, traditions and ways of experiencing life.
ReplyDeleteFun and new tutorials!
ReplyDeleteOooh I love the journals.
ReplyDeleteI value authenticity, wit and unusual twists on traditional crafts.
I love tutorials on gifts for children! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI like blogs with lots of tutorials, clear pictures and occasional giveaways.
ReplyDeleteI also like it when a blogger has links on the sidebar to their favorite blogs and I usually make a point of checking them out.
Like so many others above I notice that I tend to love blogs that have tutorials weaved into them. I like seeing their life and where they draw their inspiration from as well. I love when someone inspires me to be inspired by my own surroundings.
ReplyDeleteI love crafty blogs with lots of pictures in general.
You already are doing a gr8 job. In my opinion unique ideas, easy to understand and easy to follow tutorials. And of course awesome giveaways like these, you will have numerous follower in no time. ;-)
ReplyDeleteAetiquette@gmail.com
I love personal stories. Anything that shows you are real!
ReplyDeletePictures are always a plus. I love blogs with big, clear, beautiful pictures.
ReplyDeleteAlthoug I know that some patterns are personal and not to be shared, I like to see some step by step instructions to do some handmade stuff :)
ReplyDeleteI like personality and fun where i feel like I am the bloggers friends!!
ReplyDeletexo steph
I love pretty pictures. :)
ReplyDeleteThe number one thing I like is clothing tutorials. And I also love giveaways! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteEveryone has said such good stuff, and I have to agree with most of it. The best bit was be yourself. And enjoy your blog!
ReplyDeleteI love tutorials, too. I also like to hear the writer's personality in her writing. Too stuffy and it doesn't keep my attention!
ReplyDeleteWhen I first go to a blog, the overall color/design really sticks out to me and strongly influences my decision to look around more or not. Make it fit your personality.
ReplyDeletei'm a big fan of lovely photos and tutorials, and also links to more inspiration.
ReplyDeleteI love love love tutorials and works in progress (with the ultimate finished piece too!). Lots of photo steps. And have fun!
ReplyDeleteI love to read blogs where the writer shows a sense of their personality and isn't super serious all the time about their projects. Tutorials are fantastic because I love finding inspiration, but if they are dry as old bones, I lose interest.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I just found your blog through the giveaway links. Can't wait to look around. Thanks for hosting a giveaway.
I love blogs that are funny, and that have lots of sewing tutorials.
ReplyDeleteMy birthday is Saturday, and this would be a great birthday present!
I enjoy posts that include a bit of personal experience and I also love tutorials!!
ReplyDeleteI tend to follow blogs with well written tutorials and fresh ideas, even if they didn't have a tutorial for it, just some to inspire.
ReplyDeleteI love tutorials & blogs that include details from the every day life!
ReplyDeleteI love blogs with tutorials. Every so often I follow new blogs when I am in need of tutorials for something I want to make but encounter difficulties in the middle!
ReplyDeletethanks for the wonderful giveaway!
Lucy
I love blogs that share failures and less than perfect moments, as well as successes.
ReplyDeleteYou have beautiful giveaways! I see a lot of people share my feeling - but I love tutorials and other "how-to's".
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!
I love tutorials and colorful blogs. Thank cou for csuch a great giveaway.
ReplyDeleteTutorials with pics.
ReplyDeletebeccanae@gmail.com
Project ideas and tutorials are always great!
ReplyDeleteLots of good, clear pictures are so key! Thanks for the chance to win, I'd love the fabric bundle.
ReplyDeleteI love lots of photos of something in the process of being made - not necessarily detailed instructions but to give an idea of how something got from start to finish.
ReplyDeletetons of good pictures ...
ReplyDeleteWell, having 13 winners is an awesome start! For me, it's about seeing some of the process, not just the finished items.
ReplyDeleteI love tutorials with lots of pictures!
ReplyDeleteWowzers! 13 winners! You had me at 13! I love seeing tutorials with lots of pictures (I am a visual learner:)
ReplyDeletemcintoshsusan at hotmail dot com
Thats a lot of winners, thank you! I like a lot of variety and to see the things that don't quite go to plan because noone is perfect and I like to see the human in a blogger!
ReplyDeleteKaty
x
Blog regularly... that's something I need to work on too!
ReplyDeleteFrom what I see, your blog looks great. I love a nice looking blog, pictures, etc. If they have a lot of things I'm doing, I'll follow. Thanks for a chance to win.
ReplyDeleteI just love to see what everyone else is making. It gives me inspiration to create and put new colors and patterns together. I also like to see tutorials. lauri (dot) rymar (at) gamil (dot) com
ReplyDeleteIt's all about photos. Learn to take great photos, invest in a nice camera and plop them into posts liberally!
ReplyDeleteI always get turned off when a blog is just a recycling of other people's projects.
ReplyDeleterebekahricker (at) yahoo (dot) com
Tutorials are generally what lead me to finding and following a blog! I love seeing a new project or a tut on a new perspective/way of doing a project.
ReplyDeleteI like to see a visually simple blog, I don't like alot of distractions/ads etc. I tend to gravitate to blogs that focus on shareing creativity and ideas rather that selling things. Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteI like quilt tutorials posted in installments with photos so see how and why certain fabrics and techniques are used. mlwright29(at)hotmail(dot)com
ReplyDeleteI like tutorials, and I really like tutorials with useful tips on the project. If I make something from someone's directions and it turns out well, I'm likely to go back there. If it doesn't and I think it relates to confusing directions or poor math, I am rather jaded about the source.
ReplyDeleteMore tutorials. They're so helpful!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great giveaway! Tutorials are nice, but posting often is the best. Commenting on other blogs and showing us what you are up to! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI am a fan of tutorials, but I find that I stick with blogs the most when they post on their work regularly and provide opportunities to interact in community challenges or giveaways or discussions. Good luck and thanks!
ReplyDeleteTutorials are the best especially when you give advice to adapt if you don't have exactly the same supplies.
ReplyDeletejmclean at mts dot net
Tutorials are the biggest thing I love about blogs :)
ReplyDeleteThanks :)
Tia
mtrand2 at gmail dot com
I like seeing pictures of what you've made; ideas and project tutorials and useful tips
ReplyDeletetutorials and patterns
ReplyDeleteI love creative tutorials! Pretty pictures are a plus, too! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Jayme - great question - I've just spent way too much time reading the answers ! I love a sense of humour and posts must have photos - I have your link so I'll be back to check out your blog later - now back to work :)
ReplyDeletePhotos, photos, photos! Tips and technique helpers are always awesome to see included in project posts, too. :)
ReplyDeleteadorable giveaway! My favorite blogs always have really cute pictures in them!
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I just love to see enthusiasm and the personality of the author through their posts. I don't like reading posts that feel "forced" (if that makes sense) . . . I want to feel like I'm reading something from a friend who's keeping it real (and hopefully funny here and there). And I love to see pictures of what everyone is working on!
ReplyDeletei have discovered many blogs thru twitter and pinterest. consider joining both so we can keep up with your creativity.
ReplyDeleteI like blogs that update regularly but not every day! It is also nice when someone puts some of themselves in a blog.
ReplyDeletebrooke at richardchurch dot com
I always follow a blog if they consistently have cute projects that I would like to do myself.
ReplyDeleterachspencer@gmail.com
I like to see great projects and tutorials.
ReplyDeleteI like to see tutorials. Try to figure out what will separate you from the rest. I would so love the FQ bundle!
ReplyDeleteFrequent posts, include some of your personality in them, good photos, high quality projects!
ReplyDeletesteeplechaser29 at yahoo dot com
I love seeing tutorials on sewing, and recipes. Cute, creative ideas are nice too.
ReplyDeletersgrandinetti@yahoo(Dot)com
Love your giveaway. I love to see tutorials that are accompanied with good pictures, simple language and detailed instructions.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great giveaway! Some things I like to see in a blog: good photos, a tutorial every now and then, and a bit of good clean humor.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance! transeau(at)sbcglobal(dot)net
I have found that my followers really appreciate honesty. Here's what I mean: I don't hide my mistakes on my quilting projects, and I show all the steps to make something. Good clear pictures, and I try to make it funny. I think when you let people know that you, too, make mistakes, and have bad days, they think of you as a real person. Kinda like one of their friends!
ReplyDeleteI'm your newest follower, too!
A PHOTO IS WORTH SO MANY WORDS THEY SAY+I THINK THAT'S TRUE. I LIKE YOUR BLOG PRETTY MUCH AS IT IS.IT IS CLEAR+EASY TO READ.I'M A NEW FOLLOWER+I LIKE THIS BLOG!
ReplyDeleteTHANKS FOR SHARING!
Photos & originality & humor! Love the giveaway goods! Love the fat quarter bundle. Thanks for the chance.
ReplyDeleteI like photos, tutorials and like to know a little bit about the author of the blog.
ReplyDeleteI like photos, tutorials and reviews of products. Keeping the blog easy to navigate is a must too.
ReplyDeleteI like photos and tutorials. They are what keep me coming back to a blog. I like yours though. It looks very nice. I just recently re-did my blog (I'm new to the blog-o-sphere too). Come check it out if you find my comment in here with all the others.
ReplyDeletewww.mommyforreals.blogspot.com
What great giveaways. Thanks for participating. I look for inspiration mostly, tutorials sometimes.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy the blogs that tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth! It's nice to know that these other incredible crafters not only make mistakes, but share and learn from them. That I am not alone! I also love to see photos of all the finished projects!
ReplyDeleteAnd you are offering so many fantastic stuff! I love the mini journal. So tiny....swoon!
I'm always looking for neat craft tutorials with lots of photos. nice blog!
ReplyDeleteI like tutorial and lots and lots and lots of picture of what you are doing. It is fun to see what your doing!
ReplyDeleteI love to see pictures for inspiration and tutorials on blogs that I visit daily.
ReplyDeleteSuper cute giveaways btw

I love tuts, pics and personal stories. Your blog is a small bit of who you are. thank you for the give away.
ReplyDeleteskowens (at) sbcglobal (dot) net
Offering a give away is a great way to get new readers! Tutorials are super helpful if they are detailed with photos. I'm very visual so just seeing the steps in pics helps so much. Thanks for the generous giveaway.
ReplyDeletejenni_follstad(at)yahoo(dot)com
Thanks for such a nice giveaway!
ReplyDeleteMy advice ... I do like how clean and nice your blog looks. Think that is great. Also like to read about tutorials and crafting and such ...
The only advice that I can give you right now - your pictures in the posts are very pretty. I would make them larger! I like to look at pretty pictures - I think most people do. And they kinda grab attention ...
Wishing you the best with your blog!
Ms Muffin
After a quick peek at your blog i think more of the same, fresh, bright, great pics...love your vintage vibe...thanks for the giveaway
ReplyDeleteMore tutorials and also Quit/Sew along.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win ^^v
Great giveaway, thankyou!
ReplyDeleteTutorials are the way to go I think. I'd love to do a few more tutorials for my blog, I think they are a great way of giving back to the readers.
I love to brows for tutorials and easy peasy recepies! Love your craft and will continue watching:)
ReplyDeleteI love tutorials
ReplyDeleteIt's not necessary to share every day and moment, but be real. Feeling like you're actually part of the experience with the blogger is key for me. After awhile it's nice to do a swap, or other personal interaction to keep it interactive.
ReplyDelete
