I am super duper excited about this quilt being done. Mainly because she's been waiting a long time to be finished. I mean, the poor thing had 12 blocks sitting on the design wall for over a month while my back was out!! I originally thought I'd be done at the end of January, but with the back issues, and the constant paing, I finally got around to sewing it all together until the past couple weeks. I spent 4 hours a couple weeks ago just on a marathon of sewing to get the entire top pieced together. I do apologize for not nabbing a photo of the entire thing. I tried. But it just snowed like crazy the past couple days and I am alone at home (with children) all day long. By the time hubs gets home there's not that great of lighting left outside.
I'm posting this tonight (Thurs.) but I'm linking it up to Finish it Up Friday on Crazy Mom Quilts tomorrow (Fri.)
Amazing quilt. It is even more beautiful in person!I don't know how your letting it go. At least it is going to a good home:)
ReplyDeleteSo pretty - love those bright colors! I hear you about husbands and bad lighting - I've tried to enlist my kids' help, but the tallest is only 4 feet tall. She can't hold up a quilt for me!
