Today I finished my Denyse Schmidt Doll Quilt for my swap partner (anonymous until she receives it). It's a little TOO early to send it but I couldn't wait to finish it. I swapped some of my larger brighter scraps for these Denyse Schmidt blues since I didn't have ANY! Well, actually I had ONE, the blue and green dot. My original plans was to make a camera strap cover out of the left over fabric to go with it but I couldn't find out how to get that information without it being totally obvious of what I would probably be doing with that information. So plan two was to go in a different route. I did a DIY glass pendant with little strips of the fabric to mimic the mini. I also just happened to still have that set of white and blue bobby pins that matched perfectly! So there we go! I hope she really likes it, because I do, and I'll be sad to put it in the mail.
