At the end of October I came across a post from a photographer in Florida that I follow on Facebook. Her name is
Alex Michele and her photos are stunning. She was looking for some vendors to showcase on her blog that could provide goods that would be beneficial to photographers. I contacted her because I believe that quilts can provide some wonderful detail and color to newborn photography.
Case and point:
Those photos are just a few of the wonderful pictures that my sister takes with quilts. Alex asked her vendors to make 4-5 products based on her style, her son Henry, or specific photos of our choosing. I visited
her website and picked out the photos I wanted to use as my inspiration and went from there.
Please excuse the bad lighting in the pics that showcase the quilting and backing detail. It was cold and raining when I took the pictures, so they were taken inside.

These quilts are just darling. I love the pink and yellow stars. I'm a sucker for stars and those colors are just spot on the pictures.
