Swaps...

This past month I've been completely addicted to my IG feed. But I did manage to get a few swap items made.

Of course, I completely forgot to take pics of my Sew Sew Modern items. And my partner is still waiting on it to arrive. But here is was my amazing partner sent me:

I now am the owner of my very own Weekender. I am in love.

The next swap I participated in was the MFSG. The lovely Leona was my partner and she sent me an awesome package:

That pezzy print...in love. I've never used washi tape and I'm officially a fan! Can't wait to get my hands on more.

The next swap is the FLiPS swap. My partner is Ruth. She LOVES The Wizard of Oz and all of her pin cushions in previous rounds have been W.of.O themed. I googled "W.of.O themed pincushions" and after searching for a while, came across this post. I'm not normally a W.of.O person, but I LOVED that pincushion. So I hit up ebay and after some debating on whether I wanted to do Dorothy or the Wicked Witch, I actually decided on this guy, being that it was Valentine's day and all. I had a hard time trying to figure out how to make him stand on the stacked hearts. I called my husband over and the first thing he did was sit him down. Genius. So with a little glue this guy sits a top his thrown of hearts. They are filled with crushed walnut shells and fiberfill. I think that by picking one particular character to work with, that opens the door for Ruth's future partners who maybe aren't as familiar with the W.of.O as some of her previous partners were. I hope she likes it!
