Wow! It's been a while! A few weeks back I got in touch with a well known photographer from Florida who will be showcasing some of my quilts to sell to other photographers or potential clients of hers. So I've been busting my booty for the past week and a half to get 4-8 quilts done by the end of this week. If you follow me (findingsweetland) on Instagram, you have already seen these. But until I get them done, here are just a few of those IG photos.
I've also been putting off getting the binding on this quilt (also posted to instagram) until I get these other ones done, since technically, they have a deadline. :) It will also have its very own post when I've completed it!
Today I headed over to vote for my favorite quilts in all the categories of The Bloggers Quilt Festival, hosted by Amy of Amy's Creative Side. She's also having a little raffle to win her Baby Lock sewing machine. What can't I do with another machine?! I'll tell you one thing, I wouldn't have to pull half completed quilts out from under the needle if I have a small project I need to get done, and I certainly wouldn't panic if I have more trouble with my current machine. The one that almost made me commit quilting suicide last year. What would YOU do with her Baby Lock machine?
